翊(Yi)
Yi’s meaning in Chinese represents freedom, gentleness, and wings, while also embodying strength and
resilience in life.

Character Background:
A ten-year-old boy, he is an orphan living in a slum where he is often ostracized because he comes from a different country. He wears big tattered clothes, and the ankle cuffs on his feet signify that he escaped from another brutal dueling ground, where both his parents died. So he knew a lot about how to survive.

The slum has a rule that if you want to get someone's goods, you have to bet your life in a duel. The boy was very skinny because he couldn't beat the others and often went hungry. All he could do was sneak around and pick up what others had left or steal.
But this little boy remained optimistic because his parents had told him to respect life and follow it, and only by adapting to life can you find a breakthrough to change it.
The little boy was rarely angry and he had a friend in the slum. They would share what they had to eat and starve together when they didn't. The little boy cherished his friend and bullying his friend was the only thing that would make him angry.
